For roofers & exterior contractors

Is your website losing you jobs? Find out in 2 minutes.

Grab your phone, open your own website, and answer these 8 yes-or-no checks. Most homeowners will look at your site on a phone first, so that's how we test it.

Tap Yes or No for each one. Your score updates at the bottom.

  1. Can someone call you with one tap?

On your phone, is there a call button you can see without scrolling?

Why it matters: someone with a leak wants to talk now. If they have to hunt for your number, they call the next company.

  2. Is there a way to ask for a quote on the first screen?

A short form or a clear "Get a quote" button, visible as soon as the page opens.

Why it matters: not everyone wants to call. A visible form catches the people who'd rather type at 10 p.m.

  3. Can a stranger tell what you do and where?

Within 3 seconds, does the top of the page say the service (roofing, siding, gutters...) and the cities you work in?

Why it matters: visitors decide almost instantly whether they're in the right place. Your area also helps Google show you to local searches.

  4. Does it load fast on mobile data?

Turn off Wi-Fi and open your site. Is the page usable within about 3 seconds?

Why it matters: slow pages get closed before anyone sees your work.

  5. Are real reviews showing on the page?

Star rating, review count, or a few customer quotes on the homepage, not hidden on another page.

Why it matters: homeowners worry about getting burned. Reviews from neighbours calm that fear fast.

  6. Are the photos of your own jobs?

Your crew, your trucks, your finished work, not stock photos.

Why it matters: people can spot stock photos. Real jobs prove you do the work.

  7. Does your Google profile look complete?

Search your company name on Google. Does your business profile show hours, photos, reviews, and a link to your website?

Why it matters: for many local searches, Google shows your profile before anyone ever sees your website.

  8. Does your quote form actually reach you?

Fill out your own form. Did the request land in your email or phone within a minute?

Why it matters: a broken form is the worst kind of leak, because you never find out about the jobs you missed.
